Beirut witnessed marches from women demanding the right to pass on nationality to their children, as well as secular groups demanding an end to the sectarianism regime. Sit-ins took place in front of Electricite du Liban and inside Zaytouna Bay.
In Tripoli, demonstrations continued in Al Noor Square, and spread out to the fronts of politicians’ houses. Students in Baalbek raised a 17-m Lebanese flag in an ode to the revolution’s birth, the 17th of October.
Several petrol stations remained shut in areas including Aley, Tyre, Rashaya, West Bekaa and others.
