Open letter to Information Minister signed by "Skyes", "Adyan", "Maharat", "Alef", and "MAP"
- The Samir Kassir Eyes Center, ""Skeyes"", has published an open letter to Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad in response to a statement she gave to Voix du Liban (VDL) on May 16th.
- The letter, signed by organisations that advocate for freedom of speech in Lebanon, considered the minister's words about "[media] harming national security and infringing on dignities" a known ""tune" that masks "policies intending first and foremost to intimidate, subjugate, and oppress freedoms in various ways and methods."
