- Main roads across the country, including Ring highway in Beirut, were completely blocked by protester-organized sit-ins created to put pressure on authorities to heed to the demands of the people in response to the government’s lack of action since the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Oct 29.
- Caretaker PM Hariri met with Free Patriotic Movement leader and Caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil in Hariri’s residence in Beirut, “Beit Al Wasat.”
- Lebanon’s Minister of Telecommunications Mohammed Choucair announced that mobile phone recharge cards will be sold in Lebanese pounds as opposed to US dollars.
