- Protestors organized marches and demonstrations in front of banks in Beirut, Sidon, Jounieh, Jeb Jennine, Minnieh, and Rashaya.
- Student-led protests blocked roads near the Ministry of Education.
- Taxi drivers demonstrated in Beirut in front of the Railway and Public Transportation Authority building.
- Lebanese lawyer Marwan Salam filed a lawsuit against Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gebran Bassil for charges of embezzlement, money laundering, and illicit enrichment. Bassil responded on Twitter saying that he “welcomed the charges as an opportunity” to prove that he is being falsely accused.
- Banks announced closure until Tuesday in honor of the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed.
- Hospitals have cautioned that they may soon be unable to receive patients because they are long overdue for payments from the state. If the situation does not improve, the syndicate’s chief has stated that hospitals will not be able to receive patients starting from next Friday except in cases of emergency.
