Covid-19 Update
- 63 new cases, 1024 cases, 663 recoveries, 26 deaths
- RECORD NUMBER OF CASES CAND "EXPAT FLIGHTS ARE THE REASON": Thursday marked 63 new cases of COVID-19 infections, the highest daily number in Lebanon since February 21, when the first case was detected. 27 of the 63 cases were found among returnees and for the first time, Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad mainly attributed the increase of cases to expat flights and not the neglect of people. She also confirmed that general mobilization was extended to June 7, adding it is still uncertain when the airport will reopen.
