- After its weekly meeting on Tuesday, the "Strong Lebanon" bloc asked the government what it was waiting for to begin negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in order to "secure the necessary financing and reforms needed for restoring confidence in Lebanon." Thus, the Free Patriotic Movement has joined the Future Movement and Lebanese Forces in calling for the IMF's intervention. This follows Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's greenlight for the IMF's conditional intervention.
