Two new coronavirus infections

Rafic Hariri Government Hospital employees stand in protest

  • The personnel of Rafic Hariri Government Hospital organized a short sit—in in front of the hospital campus to ask for their labor rights from the Public Health Ministry. A speaker for the group said: “We are battling corona, but our rights are forgotten.”

Protests and road blocks

  • Protesters blocked roads in Tripoli, Menieh, Jiye, Beirut, and Taalbaya to denounce the ongoing arrest of activists and the worsening economic and living conditions. The army tried to forcefully reopen roads, which resulted in two injuries among protesters.
