COVID-19 Update
- 25 new cases, 368 cases, 23 recoveries, 6 deaths
- Earlier Thursday, the Higher Defense Council met in Baabda and recommended he extension of the country's general mobilization. Cabinet approved the extension until April 12 and imposed a curfew preventing people from roaming streets between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. It also ordered the closure of institutions during those times, with the exception of bakeries, mills, pharmacies, and medical equipment manufacturers.
- The Finance Ministry stated that it had paid all payments owed to private and public hospitals. Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it has allotted 35 billion Lebanese Pounds and deployed its doctors, nurses, and paramedics in effort to curb the coronavirus outbreak Hezbollah noted that it has established diagnostic centers and prepared 32 medical reserve centers.
