- AID DISTRIBUTIONS LAG AS GOVERNMENT WAITS FOR ARMY. Three weeks after it had issued the directive to distribute financial aid to families in need, the government announced that "major mistakes" made in aid recipients' lists have delayed the distribution, originally set to begin Tuesday. The government has tasked the army with updating the lists before proceeding with the distribution. Those prioritized will be public transport drivers, parents of public school students, victims of mine-explosions, and the families most in need registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
